Primary Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease 2023: Translation to Practice®
Cardiovascular health is the responsibility of the entire healthcare team. And, since the family medicine physician is at the HEART of a patient's care, they are in the perfect position to promote and optimize cardiovascular health. In this session, the management of common chronic diseases will be reviewed while highlighting the ACC/AHA's recommendations to mitigate cardiovascular disease risk.
Learners can earn up to 2 AAFP Prescribed credits for participation in EACH Translation to Practice® (t2p) survey from 2023 Family Medicine POP.
The AAFP has reviewed 2023 Family Medicine POP! and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Term of approval is from 8/25/2023 to 8/27/2023. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
